The United States will pay $2.5 million for information about a Belarusian trafficker
The US State Department is ready to pay a reward of $2.5 million for any information that will help arrest or convict 38-year-old Belarusian Vladimir Kadariya. He is suspected of participating in the distribution of the Angler Exploit Kit exploit kit from 2013 to 2022.
Kadaria, who used the nicknames Stalin, Eseb and baxus, also acted as part of the Ransom Cartel group, which specialized in malware infections through online advertising systems. The Angler Exploit Kit itself was considered one of the most popular attack methods among cybercriminals in the middle of the last decade, accounting for up to 40 percent of infections with exploit kits.
