General Data Protection Regulation | GDPR

Information About GDPR From 2018!

General Data Protection Regulation | GDPR

In 1995, the Data Protection Directive (DPD) was introduced in the European Union, and on May 15, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force on a new level.

The regulation introduces new principles such as accountability of data processing organizations, data porting, data security breach reporting obligation and more.

The regulation is directly applicable in EU member states and does not require to be reflected in national legislation. It establishes uniform mandatory data protection rules throughout the EU, which precludes a radically different regulation of this or that issue. This will make it easier for data processing organizations to operate in the EU and follow data processing rules!
